The Gherr'Tarok are a shark-like alien race originating from the galactic north. They hail from ocean worlds, although it is fairly common for sub-species to exist in large bodies of freshwater.
Background[]
The Gherr'Tarok have always been a savage race. They regularly engage in trials of combat against one another, and while usually nonfatal, deaths are not unheard of. Law and order are new concepts to them, having existed in small groups they call "t'nagra" (most closely translated to my family of my friends) for millennia.
Despite their primitive sounding culture, the Gherr'Tarok are surpringly advanced, and are capable of faster-than-light space travel.
